The IAPMO Group is searching for a Chemist to work out of its World Headquarters facility located in Ontario, CA. We offer a fast paced and challenging work environment. The right candidate must demonstrate professionalism, open communication, loyalty, and be detail oriented. This position is in the Research and Testing Laboratory.
The competent and desirable candidate will:
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare product, conduct testing and document all test data
Prepare and review PMI forms and test report
Work with clients as needed
Maintenance of instrumentation and supplies
Calibrate analytical instrumentation and supporting equipment and maintain calibration records
Maintain and clean laboratory facility
Organize and maintain products storage
Maintain Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP)
Develop, maintain, and review Chemical Laboratory method SOPs
Implement safety guidelines in laboratory facility
BS degree in chemistry or equivalent
Chemical and technical knowledge
Written and oral communication skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
