|The Texas Institute for Applied Environmental Research at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas invites applicants for the position of Research Scientist. This is a full-time, 12 month appointment. |
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience in environmental work; or Doctoral degree and 5 years of experience in environmental work; Progressively responsible experience with program oversight and grant proposal writing.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD in environmental sciences, water resources or environmental engineering. Experience applying surface water quality models and watershed models. Experience with statistical methods employed with water resources and performance of field studies and surveys. Demonstrated success in obtaining extramural funding and supervisory experience.
