Our Chicago, Illinois Civil Group is looking to hire one or more experienced Senior Project Managers to manage high profile infrastructure projects for public agencies, including DOTs, counties and municipalities. Candidates should be highly motivated to develop and grow clients, projects and staff.
Adept Project Managers with experience leading Phase I transportation planning and preliminary engineeringactivities. The candidate will have experience in the following areas;
Supervision of the preparation of two or more NEPA transportation related Environmental Assessment or one NEPA transportation related Environmental Impact Statements or one highway transportation-related Environmental Assessment or Environmental Impact Statement within the last ten years
Multimodal forms of transportation
Extensive public involvement and stakeholder coordination
PTOE certification a plus
Adept Project Managers with experience leading Phase II engineering design activities. The candidate will have the experience in the following areas:
Management of multidisciplinary transportation design projects for major Illinois clients
Coordination of utility relocations and improvement projects providing a good working knowledge of local agencies such as CDWM
Design-Build project delivery method a plus
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or related
Licensed P.E. in Illinois
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience with: client management; developing business leads; fee proposal generation; scope of service writing; RFP/RFQ interviews; QA/QC management and direction
Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; ability to lead written and oral proposals, reports, and presentations
