A rapidly growing design-build geotechnical contracting firm, seeks a Remote Geotechnical Engineer with a desire and ability to work in business development /sales.
**This is NOT an internship.
These are remote work-from-home positions for the Great Lakes, Texas, and Southeast US regions. Engineers can reside in AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, or FL.
These are permanent positions with outstanding compensation, uncapped commission potential and benefits package for the right candidates.
The Geotechnical Engineer will handle primarily public sector & transportation projects involving, soil erosion control, rock fall mitigation geohazard mitigation, rockslide remediation and other geotechnical challenges.
This engineering position has a business development and sales component. Warm leads will be provided in the public entity/ public sector and transportation industries, and the engineer will acquire new project business from these entities and subsequently consult on each project. Geotechnical Engineer must have strong desire and ability to work in business development / sales, can work in a fast paced environment and make decisions and assessments on the fly, can travel extensively throughout an assigned geographical region, is a self starter and can self manage, and has a strong desire to develop their own book of business.
