Successful candidate will possess cross-over professional skills and interests that integrate into the team’s natural systems design and field implementation efforts. Complete detailed natural-system hydrologic and hydraulic engineering analysis, modeling, and design. Areas of professional focus include estuarine or tidally-influenced systems, fluvial geomorphology, natural-channel stream design, bio-engineering embankment-stabilization, fish passage system design, culvert and closed conduit modeling, and flood frequency modeling and analyses. Provide principal authorship of stream restoration permits for SLOPES, in-stream habitat structure/engineered large wood design, in-stream grade control structures, stream restoration construction management/inspection, sediment transport, and bio-treatment swale system design. Apply land surveying principles and practices.
