(Civiltec) was founded to provide general civil engineering work in 1986 with a focus primarily upon private development, subdivision design and federal design-build projects. Civiltec was re-established in 1992, to provide a balance of professional services for public agencies primarily. We are seeking to hire 2 full time experienced Project Engineers for our Arizona offices. As a result of our strategic planning and growth, our Peoria and Prescott, Arizona offices are in need of experienced and talented Project Engineers to assist with our growth. The qualified candidate will be responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of civil engineering principals and practices in broad areas. Uses advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines. A lead position, this level includes technical direction over a group of civil engineering designers and/or functions as a technical specialist, formulating and developing advanced civil engineering concepts.
Topographic survey processing
Experienced producing construction plans from start to finish for utility and/or pipeline projects including: topographic survey processing, utility research and conflict identifications, pipeline layout and design and creation of construction plans and details using AutoCAD.
Serves as a technical specialist, staff advisor and design engineer for a variety of projects focused on utility and/or pipeline engineering.
Experienced performing in-house QA reviews of staff member work prior to management reviews.
Expertise using AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS and other software packages associated with civil engineering design and analysis.
As a Project Engineer, serves as a technical specialist, staff advisor and design engineer for a variety of projects including general civil, drainage, water, wastewater and transportation engineering for both public and private sector clients. Experienced in producing design and construction plans from start to finish. Experienced performing in-house QA reviews of staff members work prior to management reviews.
Expertise using AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, HEC-HMS, FLO-2D and other associated software packages associated with civil engineering design and analysis.
Performs construction observation and administration tasks such as contractor submittal reviews, RFIs and addendums.
Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined improvements, equipment, materials, processes or methods.
Markets the firm’s capabilities within the civil engineering specialty to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients. Prepares proposals for potential projects within the guidelines of the company authority matrix.
Participates in the selection of design teams and sub-consultants and in the negotiations of fees and subcontractors.
Conducts constructability reviews or assists in the design/planning/review of other civil engineering projects not assigned to the incumbent.
May supervise civil engineering and support personnel: evaluates performance; assigns and schedules work; establishes project priorities and standards; makes recommendations on hiring, firing and promotions; provides technical support of project work.
May assist the Department/Division Manager in the preparation of the department/division budget and policy implementation.
Performs all other assigned related duties.

Assist in developing project planning.
Assist in preparing and reviewing of design milestone submittal deliverables and ensure completeness and quality of submittal to clients.
