The University of South Florida (USF) is a major research university, with close to $500 million/year of external grants and contracts. USF Leadership has made a strategic decision to enhance biomedical engineering (BME) by establishing a new Department of Medical Engineering, a true joint department between the USF Medical School and College of Engineering. This new department will house the highly successful graduate programs in BME and a new undergraduate major in BME - just the 4th such program in the State system.
The University of South Florida invites applications for the founding position of Chair, Department of Medical Engineering.
