Join our high quality, knowledgeable team of Construction Inspectors to perform construction inspection support duties work involving the inspection of work quality, materials, and workmanship used in a variety of Public Works construction projects and subdivisions - all with County-issued permit. The successful candidate will ensure conformance with approved plans, specifications and departmental regulations; and maintain records and prepare project inspection reports.
Experience: One year of engineering, construction, construction inspection or related experience, such as construction work.
Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED required.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or an ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver's License, Class "R".
Possession of or ability to obtain certification as an American Concrete Institute (ACI) Construction Inspector or Colorado Ready Mix Concrete Association (CRMCA) Pavement Inspector and must be able to obtain a Troxler Electronic Laboratories certification for use of nuclear gauge within 18 months of hire.
Background Check: Must pass a criminal (CBI) background check.

Agricultural activities are the single largest land use throughout the county, accounting for more than three quarters of the land area.
