The Town of Castle Rock has an outstanding opportunity for a Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering Manager. Under general direction of the Assistant Director of Public Works, this position performs professional and managerial work overseeing short and long-term transportation planning and traffic control on public streets within the Town. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization.
Qualifications generally include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; supplemented by six years’ experience that includes traffic engineering and transportation planning experience and 3 years’ experience in a position of management; or any equivalent combination. Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado (or ability to become registered within 6 months of employment). A valid Colorado driver’s license is required to conduct on-site project evaluations and to attend out-of-office meetings. Candidate must satisfactorily complete a driving record check and criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
