The Board of Directors of Clearwater-Polk Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified and engaged leader to succeed the current General Manager who plans to retire in early 2021. The General Manager is responsible for providing leadership and implementing policies and programs to carry out the work of the Cooperative. This position reports to the President/Board of Directors.
Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant degree is preferred. Successful GM candidates will have the ability to lead and manage risk, be forward-thinking, have high integrity, possess excellent relationship building and communication skills, demonstrate the ability to achieve results and meet the challenges of the future. Cooperative experience is preferred. Minimal travel to include day trips and an occasional overnight.
