Gannett Fleming is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager/Highway Engineer to lead our Highways design team in our Tampa, FL location.. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients, developing our team, pursuing new opportunities and strengthening our market share across the greater Tampa, FL Area.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage highway and roadway related projects, including schedule, deliverables and financial performance, approve expenditures and coordinate consulting services agreements
  • Prepare designs and contract specifications for a wide variety of transportation projects
  • Grow and manage highway/transportation staff
  • Lead and direct business development activities including preparation of proposals and statement of qualifications

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of Transportation Engineering experience including roles with management and business development responsibilitie
  • P.E. is required
  • Experience working with FDOT District 1 and District 7 is preferred
  • Able to work independently as well as in groups with a demonstrated ability to manage projects, project teams, and clients
  • Able to multi-task and meet various project deadlines
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed
