Finding ways to save energy, reduce costs, and be more environmentally-friendly by optimizing electrical systems
Ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety standards so everyone stays safe on the factory floor
Collaborating with the Maintenance Department to train, as well as assist, with troubleshooting, repairs, and root-cause analysis to keep our operation running smoothly
Preparing reports, updates, and engineering data to track progress and plan for the future
Always being on the lookout for ways to make our electrical systems better, faster, and more reliable
Spearheading focus groups and project teams that will allow us to continue producing the highest quality product

Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Virginia is one of two manufacturing plants in the United States, operated by Yokohama Tire Corporation. At Yokohama, we have been dedicated to the advancement of tire design and development since day one of our founding in 1917. Since expanding into the United States in 1969, we’ve been an industry leader in tire technology and innovation across the globe. Each tire we make — and every manufacturing plant they’re made in — is designed to create as little impact on the environment as possible. That’s why every Yokohama tire is built to perform around these four key environmental criteria: global warming prevention, resource recycling, resource saving, and safety & comfort.
