The USDA, ARS, Midwest Area is seeking a Supervisory Research Agricultural Engineer/Horticulturist/Plant Pathologist to serve as Research Leader of the Application Technology Research Unit (ATRU) located in Wooster, Ohio at the Ohio State University (OSU), Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OSU/OARDC), with a worksite at the University of Toledo (UT), Toledo, Ohio. The goals of the Unit are to improve the nutritional status of floral and nursery crops, enhance water management while assuring a safe environment and food supply, and reduce pesticide use by developing methods and systems to more effectively apply disease and pest control and bioregulating compounds to floral and nursery crops.
